International law and the U.S. Constitution hold very different places in the imagination of the American public. International law is often viewed as peripheral non-law, while the Constitution is accepted as the foundational law of the United States. Yet these two bodies are in many respects similar and related. At this Constitution Day event, Professor Ryan Scoville will explain how, with the aim of helping attendees to better understand the meaning of the Constitution, along with some of the most persistent challenges in U.S. constitutional law.
