On Monday, November 8, at 11:45 a.m., SBA, AWL, and OSW, in coordination with the Law School, will host a 45-minute course on self-defense and awareness for law students. Marquette University Police Department's Officer Tom Wichgers will lead the session.

To register, please click hereComfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended, as the course will offer some limited physical self-defense training.

If you have a conflict and cannot attend, MUPD is offering multiple sessions elsewhere on campus. The next two session are on November 3 and 9 at the AMU. Click here for more information or to register for one of the other sessions.

Finally, all law students are also encouraged to download the Eagle Eye App, take advantage of the free "LIMO" shuttle service, and to call 414-288-1911 if there is an emergency on campus. Calling 8-1911 will connect you directly with MUPD's emergency dispatch, which will allow MUPD to respond quickly to the situation.
