Family, Friends, Parents, and Partners Event

As you likely know by now, law school is unlike any other experience you have gone through, educational or otherwise. For family and friends who are supporting you but may not know what it is like to be a law student, we are excited to offer them a glimpse into your lives.

Our Family, Friends, Parents & Partners event is designed for the spouses, parents, friends, and/or significant others of all Marquette law students to learn about the law school experience. They will tour Eckstein Hall, participate in a mock class taught by a faculty member, hear from members of the administration, and get to mingle at a brunch reception. Just like a law student, they will have a reading assignment to prepare and may find themselves on call.

The event will take place in Eckstein Hall from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023. A light brunch reception will close out the event. We ask that law students do not attend the main program, but they are welcome to join us for brunch.

You can RSVP online for your guests (please include guest contact information, so we can follow up with them directly). 

Please RSVP by the end of the day on Monday, October 2. A reminder email with additional details on directions, the reading assignment, and more will be sent out to registered guests on Tuesday, October 3.
