We hope you will join us on October 12 for “On the Issues: U.S. Representative Mike Gallagher.”

Lubar Center Director Derek C. Mosley will talk with U.S. Representative Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.). Congressman Gallagher has served the eighth congressional district, including Green Bay, since 2017. They will discuss the current work of the 118th Congress, including the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. Congressman Gallagher serves as the select committee’s chair.

Congressman Gallagher earned the rank of Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for seven years on active duty as a human intelligence/counterintelligence officer and regional affairs officer for the Middle East and North Africa. The congressman holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University in government and international relations and a bachelor’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
