Please join us on November 16 to continue the new series at Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education: “Get to Know.” Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will welcome Chris Corkery, founder/CEO of Hundred Acre, Inc.

Corkery invested in revitalizing distressed areas by creating Hundred Acre, an urban hydroponic farm in Century City, near 31st and Capitol, in the heart of Milwaukee. The 5,000-square-foot farm produces a year-round harvest of 50,000 pounds of produce for Milwaukee-area restaurants, grocers, and university dining services.

As Director Mosley has explained, the “Get to Know” series is intended to be “more late-night talk show than ‘Meet the Press.’” The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and last an hour. The program will include lunch, conversation, and community in Eckstein Hall.
