Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education is pleased to announce the “Native American Heritage Dinner” in partnership with the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center. Lubar Center Director Derek Mosley and special guests, including Chef Elena Terry and Chef Jessica Walks First, who were featured as guest judges on Bravo’s “Top Chef: Wisconsin,” will explore the rich history of Native American food culture in American cuisine. Come to socialize and learn while enjoying delectable dishes prepared by local chefs. Meet someone, learn something, try everything.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, November 18, at The Ivy House, 906 South Barclay Street, Milwaukee. There is a $30 cost associated with this event. While we strive to have a vegetarian option, we are unable to accommodate individual dietary restrictions. A link to register can be found here.
