Get to Know: Kimo Ah Yun

Please join us on January 17 as we continue our “Get to Know” series at Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education. Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will welcome Dr. Kimo Ah Yun, Marquette University President.

President Ah Yun was recently named the 25th president of Marquette University, succeeding the late Dr. Michael Lovell. President Ah Yun has been with the University since 2016, serving first as dean of the Diederich College of Communication and then, beginning in 2018, in the provost’s role. Learn about his background, what brought this California native to Milwaukee, how he is approaching his new position, and what he looks forward to for Marquette and the Milwaukee region.

Director Mosley envisions the “Get to Know” series as “more late-night talk show than Meet the Press.” The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m., including lunch, conversation, and community in Eckstein Hall. Please register here to attend.
