Please join us on March 20 as we continue our special spring election “Get to Know” series at Marquette Law School's Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education. Alan Borsuk, senior fellow in law and public policy, will host Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction superintendent candidate Brittany Kinser.
Ms. Kinser taught special education in the Chicago Public Schools, served as principal of a public charter school in Milwaukee, and was the CEO of the education nonprofit City Forward Collective. She cofounded 95 Wisconsin, seeking to increase reading proficiency for 95 percent of Wisconsin's children. Learn about Ms. Kinser's background, why she has entered this race, and what she plans to achieve in her future work.
The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m., including lunch, conversation, and community in Eckstein Hall. Please register here. The Law School has extended an invitation for a “Get to Know” program to each of the candidates on the ballot statewide in Wisconsin on April 1.
