Local Environmental Decision-making in Wisconsin and Beyond by Professor Sarah Fox—This presentation will discuss the role of local governments in environmental law in Wisconsin and more broadly across the United States. Topics covered will include environmental federalism, local authority and state preemption, and various subject-specific areas of local involvement, including land use, renewable energy, and sustainability planning.
