Please plan accordingly. Parking is limited on campus and permits will sell out!

For the 2019–20 academic year, the application process for student parking permits will be conducted in a tiered fashion. The application process will start with commuter students. Each subsequent group's permits will go on sale at 9:00A.M. per the schedule below until all permits are sold out:

  • July 10— All Commuter students ONLY!-NO 24 hour permits available for this tier
  • July 24— 24 hour permits for juniors, seniors, and graduate students (including Law and Dental) who live ON CAMPUS--in university owned dorms or apartments
  • July 31— 24 hour permits for juniors, seniors, and graduate students (including Law and Dental) who live OFF CAMPUS--in off campus apartments in the MU area

Students may begin purchasing their permits online once their respective group’s window is open.

Please note that if you wait until August to purchase your permit, you are unlikely to get a permit, especially as it gets closer to the start of classes. Plan accordingly because permits will sell out quickly. Also, keep in mind that if you plan to park on campus for the entire 2019-20 academic year, you are strongly encouraged to purchase an academic year permit when they go on sale in July. Purchasing a fall only permit will not guarantee that you will be able to get a spring semester permit because few permits will be available for purchase for spring 2020. Visit the Parking Services website for more information about on campus parking.

PS.  A special reminder from Parking Services to Law students:  Please purchase the LAW permit; if you purchase a non-law permit you will not be given access to Eckstein Hall parking.
