On Friday, September 13, at 12:10 p.m., in room 433B, the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners and the Org. for Student Wellbeing will host a pizza lunch open to all Marquette law students. The discussion will be open to student-wellness topics generally, and, among other things, the Board hopes to allay concerns that attempts to get help with issues such as stress, substance abuse, depression, or anxiety will be held against students in their character and fitness applications. The BBE also wants to discuss ways that it can help students (and ultimately lawyers) as they work to develop positive coping skills. A representative from the Wisconsin Lawyer Assistance Program (WisLAP) will join for the discussion, as well.
