On the Issues: Ellen Laipson

Ellen Laipson, President and CEO of the Stimson Center—What is the role of the United Nations today? Ellen Laipson has held key positions at the National Intelligence Council, UN, and National Security Council. In 2002, after 25 years of government experience, she joined the Stimson Center, which is a non-partisan Washington think tank focused on national and international security issues. Ms. Laipson leads Stimson and is a frequent speaker on Middle East issues.
