Biography

Leslie C. Behroozi returned to the Marquette University Law School community in 2007 and currently serves as an Associate Law Librarian and Adjunct Professor of Law.  In this capacity, she participates in the administration of the law library, supervises the law library's reference services, and provides faculty research assistance in addition to regularly teaching a course in Advanced Legal Research (ALR), including sections on criminal law research, family law research, and Wisconsin legal research generally.  She also collaborates to provide research instruction in the first-year legal analysis, writing and research program. She is a co-author of Wisconsin Legal Research (Carolina Academic Press 2011) with Patricia Cervenka.

Ms. Behroozi received both her J.D. cum laude and her B.A. cum laude from Marquette University. After earning her law degree, she practiced both business litigation and immigration law in Milwaukee during her five years with the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. In 2004, she earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and moved into the practice of law librarianship. She is a member of the Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin (LLAW), the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL), and the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL).
