Biography

Professor Williams has been a member of the Law School faculty since 1985 and teaches courses in the subject areas of corporations, labor, and employment discrimination law. Her articles have appeared in the Marquette Law Review, the University of Kansas Law Review, and Hofstra Labor Law Review. Professor Williams has served as a member of a task force convened by Senator Herb Kohl (D. Wis.) to review the nominations of David Souter, Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Stephen Breyer to the U.S. Supreme Court. She was appointed by Judge Maxine White to serve as a Milwaukee County Court Commissioner and by Mayor John Norquist to serve on the City of Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission. Prior to entering academe, Professor Williams represented management in labor and employment matters.
