The Association of Law Students with Families is a support group for law students with children and other close family relationships, who face the unique challenge of balancing the rigors of school with the many duties of family life. Members have appreciated hearing each other’s insights on how students can fulfill their professional responsibilities while maintaining strong relationships at home.
Our association hosts social outings to help our members and their families meet each other and form friendships. Previous events have included ice cream socials where children enjoyed building their own sundaes, fall hay rides, end-of-the-year picnics, a Build-a-Bear event, and trips to local museums. We also hold an annual “Parents Night Out.” This adult-only event helps law students connect and introduce their significant others to each other.
