The administration of the Law School, in setting grade deadlines, endeavors to balance the interests of students in learning about their academic performance in a timely manner and the interests of faculty in having adequate time to assess student performance well and fairly. Balancing these sometimes competing interests (together with, in some instances, the need to comply with deadlines imposed by the University) has led the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Registrar to adopt the following deadlines.
Spring Semester 2026
May 08, 2026, at Noon: Grades for courses graded S/U
May 11, 2026, at Noon: Exam grades for upper-level courses
May 12, 2026, at Noon: Final grades for upper-level courses
May 26, 2026, at Noon: Exam grades for all 1L courses
May 27, 2026, at Noon: Final grades for all 1L courses
