On Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, the Sports Law Program invites all students to a Sports Law Speaker Series event featuring Nate St. Clair, II, class of 2004, Sports Law Certificate recipient, and a member of the Sports Law Alumni Association and National Sports Law Institute's Board of Advisors. Nate is a partner with Jackson and Walker LLP, in Dallas, where he is an intellectual property litigator and counselor, who provides strategic counsel to clients in the sports, entertainment, media, and publishing industries. His diverse IP practice services clients ranging from Fortune 100 Companies to solo-inventors and first-time patentees. Nate also sits on the Boards of Trustees of various nonprofit organizations. In his sports and entertainment practice, Nate has worked with and represented clients, such as professional sports entities, fashion designers, record labels, recording artists, television and movie production studios, publishing houses, and authors. Nate will talk about his career, his sports & entertainment law practice, and provide his advice for students considering careers in the industry. This event will start at 5:30 pm on Microsoft Teams. A Microsoft Teams invitation will be sent to all registered attendees the day of the event.
