Get to Know: Evan Goyke

Please join us on October 15 as we continue our “Get to Know” series at Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education. Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will welcome Evan Goyke, Milwaukee city attorney.

Evan Goyke was elected Milwaukee city attorney in April 2024. He had served in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2012, representing the 18th District. Goyke graduated from Marquette Law School in 2009 and later served as an adjunct faculty member. He was also a public defender for the state of Wisconsin State. Learn about his priorities as city attorney, how he expects his state elected-official experience to serve him in his current capacity, and what he looks forward to for Milwaukee and the region.   

Director Mosley envisions the “Get to Know” series as “more late-night talk show than Meet the Press.” The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and include lunch, conversation, and community in Eckstein Hall. Please register here to attend.
