Please join us on November 11 for "On the Issues: Colonel Kevin Benson, Expectation of Valor." 

Lubar Center Director Derek Mosley will host a conversation with Colonel Kevin Benson, author of Expectation of Valor: Planning for the Iraq War. Colonel Benson is a retired decorated Army officer who led the team that developed the invasion plan for Coalition ground forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Cobra II. Mike Gousha interviewed Colonel Benson on "Sunday Night" when he returned from Iraq in 2003. Colonel Benson's recently released book provides a first-hand account of the successes and failures of the Iraq War.
