This semester the Law School is partnering with WisLAP to provide a series of presentations and casual, brief, peer-focused opportunities to connect and share wellness strategies intended specifically for law students.
The first of these sessions will be held on Thursday, February 20, on Managing and Preventing Anxiety and Burnout. This session will provide students with a variety of practical strategies for managing anxiety and preventing burnout, presented by WisLAP's Jolynn Woehrer. Jolynn is completing a Master's of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, currently works with the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Lawyer Assistance Program (WisLAP), and serves as a faculty instructor in the Sustainable Peacebuilding program at UW-Milwaukee. Ms. Woehrer is a lifelong learner with over two decades of professional experience in domestic-violence interventions, restorative practices, program development, curriculum design, healing-focused care, facilitation, and education. Ms. Woehrer holds a Master's in Women’s Studies with a focus on Human Rights, a Certificate in Trauma Counseling, and a Master's in Sustainable Peacebuilding.
Please RSVP here. Lunch will be provided.
