Get to Know: Brenda Cassellius

Please join us on September 10, as we continue the Get to Know series at Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education.  Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will welcome Brenda Cassellius, superintendent of Milwaukee Public Schools.

Dr. Cassellius has led Milwaukee Public Schools since March 2025. During her thirty years as an educator, she has worked in many roles and districts, most recently as superintendent of Boston Public Schools. Learn about Dr. Cassellius’ background, how she tackles her priorities, and what she plans to achieve in her work on the many challenges and opportunities facing MPS.
