On Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, at 12 pm in room 433, Sports Law Program Director Paul Anderson will lead a conversation with Marquette Vice President & Director of Athletics Mike Broeker. From his time with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women's Tennis Association (WTA), to his long tenure with Marquette's athletic department culminating in his selection as Vice President and Director of Athletics, Mike has had a lasting impact on Marquette and its student athletes. He now leads our athletic program in the new environment of college athletics with Name, Image and Likeness Rights, Alston payments, House v. NCAA settlement revenue sharing, challenges claiming student athletes are employees and much more. During this discussion we will here his path, his perspective on collegiate athletics, and his vision for the future of Marquette athletics.
