We’re excited to invite you to join the Marquette Sports Law Women in the Game Network (WITGN) and attend our first meeting of the semester on Wednesday, September 2, from 12:15–1:00 p.m. in Room 357.
WITGN is a student-led group within the Sports Law Program focused on helping women interested in sports law build professional relationships, connect with one another, and learn from women working throughout the sports industry. Through networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, we hope to build a strong community for students as they prepare for careers in sports law. Women and allies who are Sports Law Certificate candidates are welcome to join.
Our September 2 meeting will be an informal opportunity to learn more about WITGN, meet other interested students and the E-Board, and hear about our plans for the year. We also want to hear from members about their interests and availability as we plan programming for the fall and spring semesters. 1Ls and students interested in getting involved with WITGN for the first time are especially encouraged to attend. We also hope to see returning 2Ls and 3Ls who participated last year and are interested in staying involved and learning more about what we have planned for the upcoming year.
