The Marquette Sports Law Women in the Game Network is a collaborative community of women and allies who are Sports Law Certificate candidates or members of the Sports Law Alumni Association committed to exploring and addressing the challenges women face in the sports law field. Through open dialogue, shared experiences, and mentorship, this group hopes to provide a supportive environment where individuals can learn from one another, share insights, and gain advice on navigating the complexities of this industry. The group aims to foster a space that encourages awareness, empathy, and active support for women pursuing careers in sports law, while also promoting allyship and understanding among all lawyers working toward a more inclusive and equitable legal profession. Together, the group aims to create a network that empowers women, educates all members, and helps pave the way for lasting change in sports law. The group may host speaker panels, mixers and a wide range of other events and activities connecting students and all designed to promote wellness and strengthen our community. The goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where women and allies can connect, recharge, and empower each other, both in their careers and beyond. Unlike a typical student organization, this group will be a collaborative effort including students and alumni.
