The Marquette Law School Lubar Center Team is pleased to bring you commentary and insights by Charles Franklin and Mike Gousha about the top headlines of the latest poll.

The final pre-election Law School poll of 2020 focuses on voter choice and views of the candidates for president. We look at which groups are supporting each candidate and how voters perceive the candidates. Respondents also tell us about their expectation for the outcome of the race and the integrity of the voting and counting process.

This survey also takes a detailed look at who is likely to vote and how many are voting by absentee, early in-person or on election day. Which voters are most enthusiastic about voting and how does vote choice vary with likelihood of voting?

We also continue to monitor opinions about the coronavirus pandemic, use of masks, comfort with dining at a restaurant, and views on how well public officials have handled the public health emergency.

You will need to click on the words “Watch Now” on this website starting any time after 12:15 on October 28.  The entire poll results will be posted on the Marquette Law School poll website shortly after 12:45 p.m. following the discussion.

We miss seeing everyone and look forward to welcoming you back to the Lubar Center at Marquette Law School for in-person events when things start to return to normal. Until then, we plan to produce online programming to help keep important discussions moving forward in our community.
