The Marquette Law School Lubar Center team is pleased to bring you news and insights from Charles Franklin and Mike Gousha from the latest poll.

The September Law School poll focuses on how the presidential race looks following the party conventions and in the aftermath of events in Kenosha.

We look at vote intentions, how voters feel about the candidates, and who is most likely to vote in the November election. We also look at how people respond to the protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and how those responses have changed since June, how people feel about police use of deadly force, and how President Trump has responded to the protests. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic and people’s comfort levels with reopening schools are also covered in the poll.

Finally, we take a look at how people see the economy developing, how the president has handled the economy, and how their personal financial situations look at the end of the summer.

From 12:15 to 12:30 p.m. watch the taped podcast discussion. You will need to click on the words “Watch Now” on this website starting anytime after 12:15 p.m. on September 9. The entire poll results will be posted on the Marquette Law School poll website shortly after 12:30 p.m. following the discussion.

We miss seeing everyone and look forward to welcoming you back to the Lubar Center at Marquette Law School for in-person events when things start to return to normal. Until then, we plan to produce online programming to help keep important discussions moving forward in our community.
