Director - Partnership Sales; Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club

How did your participation in the Sports Law Program prepare you for your current position?

Learning about baseball's Anti-trust exemption, building and financing a sports facility via Prof. Greenberg's "Sports Venues" class, and learning how to research collective bargaining agreements, league constitutions and bylaws, etc. through Prof. Anderson's workshops.

Would you recommend participation in the Sports Law Program to incoming admitted students? If yes, why? Please include any advice for these students as well.

Absolutely, I recommend the Sports Law Program to any interested student. Receiving the NSLI Certificate will differentiate from others and demonstrate expertise in professional, amateur, and recreational sports. The network of NSLI alumni runs strong and deep creating a lifelong network that will lead to professional development and growth for years. Milwaukee is a great city to live, work and play in, and has a very reasonable cost of living. With close proximity to MLB, NBA, and NFL teams, a Division I University, as well as many entertainment venues, the city has much to offer from a professional and recreational perspective. And perhaps most of all, 'Cura Personalis' serves as a cornerstone principle within the Sports Law program, something few other programs can offer.
