FGP Seeking E-board Applications
FGP Election Process has officially begun! All positions are open. There is no need for previous e-board experience.
For those of you interested, email a statement of interest to Maggie Rimer by Monday, April 6, at noon.
In your statement of interest at minimum (feel free to add more!) please include the following:
- The position you are running for.
- Why you would be a good fit for that position.
If you are running for more than one position, please provide a statement of interest for each position you are applying for and submit them all in the same email. Maggie will respond to all submissions with a confirmation that your statement of interest was received and the position(s) that you are in the running for in FGP’s 2025-26 E-board Election.
Again, the positions that make up the FGP e-board (excluding 1L reps) are as follows:
- President:
- Oversees the organization, runs e-board meetings, delegates tasks to e-board members, works collaboratively with other e-board members to provide events and activities for the org.
- Vice President:
- Assists the President with the above tasks.
- Secretary

- Contacts the organization via email, take notes during e-board meetings, and any other tasks that may need to be delegated.
- Treasurer
- In charge of the financial aspects of the organization including the budget, food expenses, etc. and any other tasks that may need to be delegated.
- Communications Chair
- Runs social media including the org's Instagram and the LinkedIn page, makes flyers/advertisements for the org, and any other tasks regarding media for the org.
- 2L Rep
- Represents the 2L class and ensures that the 2L class is updated about various events, and any other tasks that may need to be delegated.
Again, NO previous e-board experience is needed!
Once the deadline closes, Maggie Rimer will be creating a packet with all the submissions and sending that out for all of you to review, along with the link to vote.
