PILS Giving Challenge Days
The summer of 2025 was a good one for Marquette Law School’s Public Interest Law Society (PILS) Fellows. Nineteen students devoted more than 6,650 hours of service—valued at nearly $1 million— across 12 public interest organizations and agencies. At a time when the need for public interest lawyers has never been greater, our Fellows stepped into the justice gaps—delivering life-changing legal help while also becoming the kind of justice-driven advocates our communities urgently need.
Thanks to the generosity of so many, including our four anonymous challenge donors—our 2025 PILS Giving Challenge Days were a wonderful success, raising more than $60,000 to fund PILS Fellows in summer 2026.
Donations are always welcome and ensure that we can continue providing these valuable learning experiences
We are grateful for any amount. And, of course, your gift is tax deductible.
Then, we hope you spread the word of your generous donation on your LinkedIn or other social media sites that you are a Friend of PILS.
PILS Giving Dinner
PILS Giving Dinner is a relaxed, potluck-style celebration that brings our whole law school community to the table—faculty, staff, students, and alumni alike. Every dish is made or donated by someone from Marquette Law, making it a true community feast. The dinner caps off our PILS Giving Challenge Days, which raise essential support for PILS Summer Fellowships. It’s a joyful tradition and a shared cause that unites the entire Marquette Law School family.
