A Message from Steven J. Krueger, L ’07
It is a privilege to serve my fellow alumni as this year’s President of the Marquette University Law School Alumni Association Board. Marquette University Law School has had a profound impact on my life—personally, professionally, and spiritually—and I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the institution and community that helped shape who I am today.
I currently serve as a managing partner at the Law Firm of Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. in Green Bay, where I assist clients with a broad range of real estate, banking, business, and transactional matters. My time at Marquette University Law School was somewhat unique as I was a part-time student over a six-year period while employed full-time by the University. As a first generation professional, the years that I spent at Marquette were some of the most eye-opening and rewarding of my life. My continued involvement with the Alumni Association Board reflects a lasting commitment to leadership and service instilled during my time at the Law School and fostered by other Marquette Lawyers who have mentored me throughout my career.
As I begin this term, I invite you to reflect on a guiding theme: Find YOUR way to reconnect. Whether your path leads you back to campus, to fellow alumni, or to the broader Marquette Law community, there are many meaningful ways to reengage. Reconnection can take many forms—mentoring current students, attending alumni events, supporting the Annual Fund, or offering your time and talents in service to others. Our shared experience as Marquette lawyers connects us in a meaningful way and offers a powerful platform to serve—our communities, one another, future alumni, and the Law School itself. The Alumni Association Board exists to support and engage you, and I encourage you to explore a way to reconnect that is meaningful and sustainable for you.
I am inspired by the work ahead and the year to come. I look forward to connecting with many of you at upcoming events, and I welcome your ideas and involvement. Together, we can continue to strengthen and advance the legacy of Marquette Law.
