Alan Borsuk

Senior Fellow in Law and Public Policy

Alan Borsuk's duties include working on the Marquette Lawyer magazine, writing for the Law School faculty blog about Law School programs and public policy issues, assisting with the Marquette Law School Poll, and undertaking research projects related to public policy. He also writes occasional columns about education for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Hilary DeBlois

Program Manager

Hilary DeBlois develops, promotes, and facilitates programming and outreach opportunities for the Lubar Center. She also directs Marquette Law School's Summer Youth Institute for middle and high school students.

Charles Franklin

Professor of Law and Public Policy

Charles Franklin has directed the Marquette Law School Poll since 2012. The Marquette Law School poll is ranked 2nd of over 500 pollsters nationally by Nate Silver and ranked 3rd by FiveThirtyEight.com, the only poll with a perfect 10 score for transparency in reporting methodology and results. The poll has conducted more than 85 Wisconsin polls and more than 26 national ones.

Craig Gilbert

Lubar Fellow

Craig Gilbert is a columnist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and was the newspaper's longtime Washington Bureau Chief and political reporter. He analyzes public opinion, voting trends, and Wisconsin's shifting political landscape.

John Johnson

Research Fellow

John Johnson focuses on housing, demographics, and political trends. His research appears regularly in regional and national publications. He is also a vital part of the Marquette Law School Poll.

Derek Mosley

Lubar Center Director

Derek Mosley graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1995. He has been a judge, assistant district attorney, and lecturer. He speaks nationally about Unconscious Bias and Black History.

David Strifling

Professor

David Strifling supervises the Law School's curricular program in water law and directs the Water Law and Policy Initiative. Using an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, the Initiative aims to assess the legal and regulatory aspects of water policy and provide interested individuals with the means to become better informed about the legal and policy aspects of critical water issues.
