The law library's reserve collection includes the print Wisconsin Continuing Legal Education materials (brown binders), current study aids, a limited number of laptops (primarily PCs), MAC and USB chargers, DVDs, and other materials that faculty place on reserve. Law students may checkout items from the reserve collection for 2 hours to 4 days, depending on the item type. Faculty may checkout reserve items, other than laptops, from the reserve collection for 3 days. Detailed information for user types and loan periods is available on the loan period table.
Course or Class Reserves are items that professors place on reserve for a specific class. Students may search MARQCAT, the library catalog, to find class reserves by using the professor's last name.
